●いよいよ、大阪でも桜の花が咲(さ)き始め、今週が見ごろです。

去年は桜の開花(かいか)が早かったですが、今年は平年並み(へいねんなみ)です。

春爛漫(はるらんまん)といいたいところですが、花冷え(花冷え)のこの頃(ごろ)です。

 Finally, cherry blossoms have begun to bloom in Osaka, and this week is the best time to see.

 Last year cherry blossoms started blooming earlier than the previous year, but this year is normal.

 We'd like to feel spring at its height, but in this cherry blossom season chilly weather has returned.

３月(さんがつ）--- March

段々、温(あたた)かくなってきましたね。桜の開花(かいか)が待(ま)ち遠(どお)しいこの頃(ごろ)です。

Hello, everyone! It has gradually become warm and we can not wait for the cherry blossoms blooming.

◎「１月行(い)く、２月逃(に)げる、３月去(さ)る」と言います。どうして？

Why do people say that January goes, February gets away, March leaves?

１月は正月があって、２月は元々(もともと）２８日で普通の月(つき)より短(みじか)く、３月は年度末(ねんどまつ)でしなければいけないことが多いです。

There is a New Year in January, February is originally 28 days shorter than ordinary month, March is year end so many things to do.

こうしたことから、１，２，３月は日が早く過ぎる（やることが多いのに思うように進(すす)まない）ということを表(あらわ)すのが「1月行く、2月逃げる、3月去る」という表現(ひょうげん)です。

For these reasons, it means that in the months of January, February and March, the day passes sooner (it does not progress as you think that there are many things to do) is "going in January, get away in February, leave in March" .

１月の「いち」の最初の音「い」を使って「いく（行く）」、２月の「に」の音を使って「にげる（逃げる）」、３月の「さん」の最初の音「さ」を使って「さる（去る）」というように言葉遊(ことばあそ)びの要素(ようそ)が入っている表現です。一種の頭韻(とういん)ですね。

"Iku (to go)" using the first sound "i" of Ichi-gatsu (January), "Nigeru (to get away)" using the sound of "ni" in Ni-gatsu (February), "Saru ( to leave)" using the first sound of "sa" in San-gatsu(March). It is an expression that contains elements of word play. a kind of vernac.

8月( はちがつ）--- August

　みなさん、お元気ですか。

毎日、暑いですね。まさしく、今年の夏は猛暑日(もうしょび ≧35℃)との戦(たたか)いです。

大阪では19日連続(れんぞく)で熱帯夜(ねったいや ≧25℃)でしたが、台風12号の雨でつかの間、熱帯夜から解放(かいほう)されました。

でも、また、8月も猛暑(もうしょ)が続きそうです。お体に気をつけてください。

Everyone, how are you? It's hot everyday. Indeed, we are fighting against extremely hot days (i.e. 35 degrees Celsius or greater). Although we have had extreme heat (i.e. 25 degrees Celsius or greater) for 19 nights consecutively in Osaka, we were free from it for two nights due to the rain of Typhoon No.12. However, it is likely that the intense heat will continue in August too. Please take care of yourself.
